In the traditional design and build of the 1/2-size C1M Protégé, Cordoba provide beginners with a classical guitar that will serve for decades to come. Constructed using genuine tonewood, the spruce soundboard fills out the acoustic sound with clarity while the mahogany back and sides bring warmth. This half-size model is perfect for children aged 5 to 8.

The Cordoba C1M: Traditional & Modern Detailing

The traditionally wide 48mm nut gives the C1M it's authentic playability while widening the string spacing, allowing more room for accurate finger picking. A more modern feature is the truss rod that's been shot through the neck and can be adjusted should the wood become warped over time, which can occur within shifting temperatures and humidity levels.

Natural Style

The entire body and neck of the Cordoba C1M 1/2 has been given a satin-gloss coat, retaining the natural look of the wood and leaving a smooth, matte feel. This is then accented by a set of gilded machine heads complete with mother-of-pearl tuning buttons. Since the quality of strings has an immense impact on the sound, this thoughtfully designed classical guitar also comes with a pre-installed set of Savarez Cristal Corum High Tension 2CJ strings.
